Mayor Kwasi Fraser

Having resided in Purcellville since 2006, Kwasi Fraser, his wife, Angela, and their three children settled in Purcellville because they like its balance of old and new, its small town warmth, and consider it a great place to raise their family. Council Member Ryan Cool

Ryan J. Cool is an 8 year resident of Purcellville and is the proud Father of two children, Ashlyn and Ryan Jr “RJ”.

His focus in serving the Citizens of Purcellville mirrors what citizens have voiced concern over for years:  fiscal discipline, maintain our small Town character, and managed growth that maintains our small Town character while also being fiscally responsible.

Ryan’s core belief is that Government is only effective when the community is involved making all views known, those opinions are acknowledged, and decisions are made by individuals who have the entire community in mind.

Serving on the Town Council requires being a proactive advocate on behalf of the residents, the issues, and the needs of Purcellville.  Citizens often forget that elected officials work for them. They are not to represent their own personal interests or those of others with whom they have certain specific and special interests. My #1 priority is the people of Purcellville and any others in the greater Purcellville community that have a stake in the future of this great Town.

Ryan has an MA in Public Policy from the University at Albany, a BA in Political Science from SUNY Potsdam and is a Project Management Professional (PMP).  His professional background includes Policy Analysis, Financial and Project Management, and Congressional Affairs.
