News Release - Launch of Community Video Tour Showcasing the Town of Purcellville

PURCELLVILLE, Va. January 19, 2017— The Purcellville Town Council and Economic Development Advisory Committee are excited to announce the launch of a brand new video series, highlighting all of the wonderful aspects of Purcellville. These videos, produced free of charge to the Town, will serve as a valuable tool for marketing and promoting the Town as a great place for residents, businesses, and visitors.

In partnership with CGI Communications, Inc., a video production firm focused on promoting municipalities, the Town of Purcellville created a unique series of videos that emphasize the key qualities of the Town. Video topics include: Homes and Real Estate, Business and Industry, Shopping and Dining, Craft Beverages, Special Events and Recreation, and History. The goal of these videos is to encourage continued business growth and visitor attraction in the Town.

Live video shots were filmed over the summer and professionally edited with a rich blend of voiceover script, still shots, and music. Each video is unique to Purcellville and captures the broad range of the Town’s qualities.

Mayor Kwasi Fraser, in expressing his support of this project, said, “We thank the Purcellville Economic Development Advisory Committee for leading this great initiative to showcase our vibrant town and its thriving business community.  This video program will encourage viewers to learn more about area attractions, economic development opportunities, quality of life, and the businesses supporting the program. This is yet another promise made and delivered by the Purcellville Town Council.  We remain dedicated to highlighting the advantages of living and working in Purcellville – advantages that include access to our wonderful business community.  Enjoy and share all that Purcellville has to offer.”

The Town videos are easily accessible on the Town’s homepage or at this link: http://www.purcellvilleva.gov/video.
