News Release - Police Report

PURCELLVILLE, Va. May 18, 2017 -
05/11/2017 – 02:30p.m. 100 Blk. N. 16th St. Crisis Intervention Call
Police were called to the scene of an overdose. The patient had taken an overdose of prescription drugs in an attempt to harm herself. The patient was taken to a medical facility for treatment and then referred to a mental health facility for treatment.
05/12/2017 – 02:35a.m. 100 Blk. N. Maple Ave. Drunk in Public
Brooke Burke, a 52 year old male of Purcellville, was arrested for being drunk in public. He was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and held until sober.
05/12/2017 – 09:30a.m. 600 Blk. Dominion Terrace Juvenile Assault
Two juveniles had been involved in an assault. There were no injuries and the incident is being investigated in conjunction with the school resource officer at Loudoun Valley High School.
05/13/2017 – 07:51a.m. 800 Blk. Maple Flats Terrace Destruction of Property
The complainant reported that her house was egged. The investigation is being investigated in conjunction with the school resource officer at Loudoun Valley High School.
05/13/2017 – 06:16p.m. 200 Blk. S. Maple Ave. Damage to Property
A homeowner reported that a building contractor had damaged his property. Attempts are being made to resolve the issue between the two parties.
05/14/2017 – 12:00a.m. N. 21st & Ashleigh Vehicle Pursuit
A Police Officer on patrol observed a vehicle driving recklessly and attempted to stop the vehicle but the vehicle increased its speed and fled from the officer. The officer lost sight of the vehicle in the area of Hillsboro Rd. and Allder School Rd. and discontinued the pursuit.
05/16/2017 – 01:23p.m. 700 Blk. W. Main St. Larceny
A business owner reported that a bench in front of the business had been stolen sometime overnight.
05/16/2017 – 08:33p.m. 700 Blk. Heronwood Ct. Telephone Complaint
The complainant reported that she had received obscene messages on her phone. Investigation determined that the messages originated from out of state from an unknown party. The complainant was advised what steps to take to end the messages.
05/17/2017 – 03:05p.m. 300 Blk. Crossman Ct. Burglary
The complainant came home to find that someone had apparently entered her residence and called police. It was determined that property had been taken from the residence. The incident is under investigation.
05/17/2017 – 04:12p.m. 100 Blk. W. Main St. Crisis Intervention Call
Police were called to the scene of a person that was having a mental health crisis. The person was taken into custody and transported to a mental health center for treatment.
