News Release - Police Report

PURCELLVILLE, Va. — 03/08/2018 - 


03/07/2018 – 10:22a.m. 200 Blk. W. “J” St. Disorderly Subject

 Police were called to the scene of a disorderly subject at a residence. On police arrival, the person had fled the scene. The area was checked but he was not located. The person who called police knows the identity of the person. The incident is under investigation.

03/07/2018 - 09:46a.m. 200 Blk. Miles Hawk Terrace Fraud

The complainant reported that a check she was expecting was never received and she later found out it had been cashed by an unauthorized third party. The incident is under investigation.

03/06/2018 - 11:21p.m. 400 Blk. S. Maple Ave. DWI

Cameron Heaslip, a 31 year old male, was arrested for DWI. He was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and held.

03/05/2018 – 07:23p.m. 100 Blk. N. Bailey Ln. Stolen Auto

A business reported to the Purcellville Police that a vehicle that had been parked at their business had been located abandoned out of state by another police jurisdiction. The incident is being investigated as a possible stolen auto.

03/05/2018 – 03:13p.m. 300 Blk. W. Main St. Suspicious Event

A social organization reported receiving a post card that had some suspicious language on it and contacted police. The incident was documented and under investigation.

03/05/2018 - 11:30a.m. 37000 Blk. E. Main St. Trespassing

The complainant reported an ongoing issue with trespassing on his property. The incident is under investigation.

03/01/2018 - 06:22p.m. 100 Blk. Hirst Rd. Assist other Police Agency

Purcellville Police were notified about a non-specific threat that had been made by high school age juveniles. The incident was turned over to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office that investigated the incident and determined the threats to be non-credible.
