News Release - Police Report

PURCELLVILLE, Va. JULY 6, 2018 

 

07/04/2018 – 11:00p.m.      400 Blk. S. 32nd St.     DWI

 A Police Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and determined the driver was intoxicated and had a revoked driver’s license. Calvin Revis, a 63 year old male of Purcellville, was arrested for DWI and having a revoked driver’s license. He was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and held until bond requirements were met.


07/04/2018 – 09:03p.m.     600 Blk. E. Main St.      Narcotics Violation

A Police Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and determined that the driver and passengers were in possession of narcotics. The incident is under investigation and charges pending.


07/04/2018 – 09:24a.m.    800 Blk. E. Main St.    Reckless Driving

 A Police Officer observed reckless driving behavior of a motor vehicle. The driver was identified and the incident is under investigation.


07/03/2018- 02:18p.m.     100 Blk. N. Maple Ave.   Drunk in Public

Calvin Revis, a 63 year old male of Purcellville, was arrested for being drunk in public. He was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and held until sober.


07/03/2018 – 11:35a.m.    300 Blk. McDaniel Dr.     Destruction of Property

 The complainant reported that unknown person(s) had used a sharp object to scratch the paint on his vehicle. The incident is under investigation.


07/01/2018 – 11:32a.m.    700 Blk. N. Maple Ave.    Larceny

 A Police Officer on patrol observed that a street sign had been stolen overnight. Maintenance staff was immediately contacted to replace the sign.


06/30/2018 – 12:30p.m.   700 Blk. E. Main St.       Verbal Threats

The complainant reported that an acquaintance had made threats towards him. The incident was investigated and found to be an unfounded complaint.
